Atomy, is a Korean company that distributes the supplement "HemoHIM Plus" and its own brand of premium cosmetics and personal care products made from 100% natural herbal ingredients. The Chinese character “美” (pronounced “mee”) stands for beauty. Mr. Han-Gill Park founded Atomy in 2004 and is also the CEO of Atomy America, Inc. Atomy aims to deliver top quality products at the lowest possible prices, with patents all over the world. Atomy is a global network with established subsidiaries in Korea, Japan, Canada, the US, Taiwan, Singapore, Cambodia and Philippines. Atomy’s products come from a collaboration of two companies:

The Korean Atomic Energy Institute (KAERI) and Kolmar Korea.

Together they teamed up to launch an institutional venture company named KOLMAR BnH (Beauty and Health).

In 2006, KOLMAR BnH became the first institutional venture company to be approved by Korea's Ministry of Education, Science, and Technology.

KOLMAR Korea
Kolmar Korea is an OEM (original equipment manufacturer) and ODM (original design manufacturer) company that manufactures cosmetics and pharmaceuticals. It was established in May, 1990 and is one of nine worldwide Kolmar companies whose technologies and know-how have been developing for over 100 years.

KOLMAR invests heavily in KAERI to provide research and Development for their products. KOLMAR produces cosmetics for various companies around the world such as Chanel, Shiseido and other high-end cosmetic brands.

KAERI (Korea Atomic Energy Research Institute)
The Korean Atomic Energy Institute (KAERI) develops nuclear fusion and radiation fusion technology and is responsible for the research and development of Sun Bio Tech. It was founded on February 3, 1959 as Korea’s first comprehensive science and technology research institute in order to improve the quality of life of the general public. Over the past 50 years, KAERI has become the driving force behind Korea’s national economic growth and continues to promote strong economic growth by using nuclear power as a major energy source. KAERI is also strengthening Korea’s industrial competitiveness through the transfer of advanced science and technology.

In 1996 the government of South Korea tasked KAERI with developing a product to counter-react against the deadly affects of radiation. Since all of South Korea's electrical power is produced by nuclear reactors this was very important for the health of the employees.

After 8 years of research & development 15 scientists and doctors of the KAERI Food Life Engineering Team (makers of food for the International Space Station) developed an herbal mixture that did exactly what it was supposed to do. This product was named HemoHIM.

ATOMY
When the government found out that this product was being sold at super-high prices they stepped in. The South Korean government felt that this was not something that was "optional", but that it was a basic necessity. ATOMY became the sole distributor of HemoHIM in 2006.

In 2009 ATOMY changed its business structure to that of a network marketing company. Since then ATOMY has added hundreds of other natural products, also produced by KOLMAR BnH, including cosmetics, health supplements and household products.

ATOMY is now in 8 countries worldwide - South Korea, United States, Canada, Japan, Singapore, Australia, Taiwan, Cambodia and Philippines.
